SMART (Sewage Microbial Amendment Reactor) Units contain biocarrier inoculated with microbes tailored to mineralize constituents found in household wastewater. SMART Units are designed to be installed as part of, or connected to an individual residence septic system to treat and reduce levels of BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), TSS (Total Suspended Solids), NO3, PO4 and other contaminants flowing into the local waste stream. SMART Units are easily installed and require a minimum amount of oversight and maintenance.
