Sewer Buddies are stainless steel containers filled with biocarrier that are installed directly into the municipal waste stream at sewer lift stations, treatment plants, treatment ponds, and effluent outfalls. Sewer Buddies seed the waste stream with a tailored microbial consortium for the purposes of reducing the odor levels, sludge, sulfides, ammonia, BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), TSS (Total Suspended Solids), and COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) associated with municipal waste sewerage systems.

These micro seeding units can be used in combination with larger-scale seeding unit systems to treat sludge basins at the main plant itself greatly enhancing the overall treatment efficiency of the plant. Sewer Buddy technology is particularly successful and effective in solids/sludge reduction.
